I agree with Alan. Heath is on a life long road to being a jobber unless...

They bring back the cruiserweight division so smaller guys have a chance

Pair him with a monster (like Big Show or Mark Henry) and they work towards being tag team champs. Years ago this black guy (sorry I can't remember his name) jobbed a lot until they teamed him with Andre The Giant and they were unbeatable until the night they were bushwacked by Bobby Heenan, Big John Studd, and a 3rd guy. They knocked Andre out and cut all his hair off.

Take him off air and either bring him back repackaged as a new guy or he wears a mask and no one knows who he is until the big reveal months later.

WWE.com has an interview with Batista, who was discussing his upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie. During the interview, Batista noted that he's not leaving WWE and is fulfilling obligations to Marvel for the movie.

Batista also talked about his return in January and said that the response was weird because it seemed like fans felt that he didn't deserve his spot. He noted that fans "forgot about my 10 years of pain and suffering and sacrifice," and said that when he left the company, he left the right way. He talked about breaking his back in his last match before his return, and said that he "literally broke his back for the fans."

He also said that he was happy when Daniel Bryan was added to the main event of WrestleMania XXX.

"I was super excited, because, you know, we needed that element," Batista said. "Even speaking from a fan's standpoint, for me, it's hard to get sucked into a [bad guy vs. bad guy] match. We needed a hero, man, and Daniel Bryan was the biggest hero in the company. I knew this was gonna be good. It's so much better when the fans have an emotional investment. And they were so emotionally invested in Daniel Bryan, and they were so absorbed in their hatred for me that I knew it was gonna be good stuff."

Batista also talked about if his return met expectations, his matches with Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio, Guardians of the Galaxy and much more. You can read the full interview by clicking here.

Below is Triple H's latest interview with Michael Cole.

From the newswire:

Even The Rock can't be a rock sometimes.

Dwayne Johnson, the pro wrestler turned big-screen actor whose bicep alone is probably bigger than your entire upper body, reveals in a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter (June 27 issue) that he's had his fair share of struggles in the past—from getting into trouble with the law as a teenager to getting kicked out of his home at 14 to being dumped as a professional football player—and Johnson admits it ultimately led to depression.

"I didn't want to do a thing," he recalled. "I didn't want to go anywhere. I was crying constantly. Eventually you reach a point where you are all cried out."

After atempting to overcome numerous obstacles as a young boy, The Rock decided to turn things around, and at 18, he won a full football scholarship to the University of Miami and was ecstatic when he was the only freshman chosen to play, something very rare in college football.

However, he began to sustain multiple injuries and ended up dropping out of school without even taking his midterms. Johnson saw himself going into a downward spiral again, until his coach called and set him straight. "He says, 'Get your ass in a car and come back right now.' He was so embarrassed and pissed. It's one thing when you go through an injury and depression. It's another when you walk away and say, 'F— it.' "

The Rock went back to school and continued to dream of playing for the NFL. Unfortunately, when the draft came, he wasn't picked. He went on to get signed by the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders, which was far less luxurious than what he pictured in his mind, but it was something.

Until—yes, more unfortunate news—his coach told him he was being cut. "You hear the words you never want to hear as a player: 'Coach wants to see you. Bring your playbook,' " said Johnson. "There was no injury. It's just, 'That's it. You're not good enough.' That was very sobering."

That's when his second round of depression crept back in. "The dreams I had, they're dashed," he explained. "There is no more football. My relationship was crushed. That was my absolute worst time...I looked in my pocket, and I had seven bucks. Wow. Seven bucks to my name."

However, all of Johnson's hardships is what helped mold him into the man he is today—an action star with a lucrative career that's far beyond anything he could have imagined (his films made a whopping $1.3 billion last year alone!).

Now if that doesn't inspire you, we don't know what will.

Johnson also opened up about the moment he found out his Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker passed away from a fiery car crash. "I was driving with [girlfriend] Lauren [ Hashian] when she immediately turned very quiet and was looking at me, studying, wondering if I knew," he recalled of that November day. "I pulled over and looked at my messages and had a moment where I just caught my breath. We said a prayer right then to give his daughter strength—because we had talked about our daughters. That's what we would talk about. Both of us were divorced, and we talked about the power of being a dad and the strong connection of a dad and his girl. Then once we got home, we started bawling."

That isn't me being a hater. I listened to that idea from Raven before and it was spot on to me. You would have to do without him for a while. Then he returns with a totally different character. Again, chances are like 100/1

The light heavyweight division idea always looks good on paper and I would make it happen if I had any control. Make the belt their number one priority and let them have super duper matches every week. They could decide the first champion with a battle royal

Then the problems start coming into my head. Any time I hear cruiserweight it sends my mind back to the 90s with the old boys we've talked about again and again. Rey Mysterio when he was Rey Mysterio etc. Then I think to now and how WWE wouldn't let you do that. I'm not one of those compare eras guys. I know it is not 1996 when that style was still pretty new to me. My expectations are adjusted of course. WWE letting their guys go a a little more is always cool with me. I can still appreciate a good match today. They just don't come along as much.

I just doubt that WWE would start promoting a junior heavyweight division. It's like it's old fashioned. ''Rey Mysterio, har, har, har. Look at him now. NO! to cruiserweights, damn it. We have evolved''

Fair enough, guys, I thank you for your opinions. Even though you both think Heath will remain jobbing for the most part, those are some good suggestions on how to make him more serious and get out of jobber territory.

I haven't ever heard that Raven interview before, but it's definitely a time tested solution. Even though I would miss seeing Heath on TV for a while, I guess it would be necessary at this point in order to make the audience forget about his losing streak. The mask though makes me think of the Miz when he dressed up like "The Calgary Kid."

Teaming him up with a big guy is another great idea that I think I would enjoy. It reminds me of when Owen Hart teamed up with Yokozuna. In fact I was thinking, one reason I think I like Heath so much is that he reminds me of Owen Hart. They're both smaller guys who play annoying type roles but are totally committed to whatever character they're given. Also they're both funny and entertaining, and legitimately nice guys behind the scenes. Owen was my favorite wrestler as a kid, btw.

As for the light heavyweight/cruiserweight division, I think we all agree that it would work if it were booked right. And of course, we can't trust WWE to do that. But there's always hope. Also, a lot of the NXT guys would fit nicely into that division as well.

Another thing I was thinking is maybe they could, for now, team Heath with Swagger in the Real Americans. WWE is running low on tag teams, and since Heath is now standing up for America to Rusev, these 2 might work well together.

Also, Karmafan, I hadn't heard of that black guy that teamed with Andre the Giant, but I looked it up and he's SD Jones. I only knew of him as the guy that lost to King Kong Bundy at WrestleMania 1, in what I think was then a record setting time! Here's the match you were thinking of:

LOL One of the greatest heel moments in the history of wrestling. Look at all the trash fans were throwing in the ring.

I saw the June 2nd episode of Raw and then decided to not see the next 2. It was very boring. I may as well just watch the PPVs.

I unfortunately spoiled by accident that Rollins was the one who split. Made sense really after I thought about it. I'm not sure if I read that the Shield is no more now. Bryan stripped, not great, all that momentum he made for himself and I can't get over it really. I had all this enthusiasm for a great Bryan run and it got squashed. I currently don't have the MITB fever as I usually do probably as a result of not seeing the recent shows but the retarded shit on Raw every week is really not doing me any favours. I know a few of you guys are into Bo here but I'm not, Rose can shove it and Rusev happily took his shit stereotypical gimmick and as a result nobody cares. Lana faking that accent is annoying as well. I feel like Gordon Ramsay should show up and give every one a pep talk. His shows are way more entertaining than the drivel WWE are putting out and I can barely boil an egg. I'm not watching for the cooking, I watch for him. Putting on Raw I'm asking who am I watching for... I can't even answer. It was Punk, then Bryan. Both gone so there is now no one. Nobody else has managed to capture my attention enough to care. Zigs turned to shit, Sandow being made a mockery but taking it in his stride. Wyatt had me but lost me singing that f'n song over and over again. I'm hoping watching MITB will perk me up, it usually does.

Welcome back Love Buzz! I was watching NXT earlier today and saw "The Vaudevillains" in action . This is by far the most interesting tag team I've seen in NXT. Very cool.

No there is a 2nd MITB ladder match. In a briefcase is a anytime contract for a future championship match. They mentioned it at least 2x during Smackown. This is different from the 7 man ladder match for the championship (to be crowned that night in Boston).

Don't be surprised if there is not a clear cut winner at MITB. Any time they go out of their way to announce over and over "we will have a guaranteed new champ" you gotta wonder if there is a swerve and it will be resolved at SS. Perhaps 2 guys will come down off the ladder and each has a championship belt in hand and it will go to SS.

Banned again lol. I wonder when he will make his next glorious return.

you'd think maybe the decision makers learn their lesson and never let him back again since every time he returns, he always starts something with somebody.

Saying the Wyatt family has no wrestling talent is a bit weird considering they had classic 6 man tags with the Shield. Bray also had a classic with Bryan at Rumble 2014.

All my web reviewers caught me up to speed. Let's say I really don't feel like I'm missing out at all by not seeing the last 2 raws. Not many positive things were said. Sure they aren't great optimists but they know the difference between good, decent and shit plus they are both pretty much my age (mid-20s) so I can relate to them well.

I'm deciding to watch NXT weekly again. I stopped for the simple reason it was becoming boring but from what I've read it's picking up again. I think it'll be good company for the bitter taste of Raw. I was thinking the fans should chant 'we want 2 hours' but that would be so surreal. I can't imagine they are happy though, sitting and suffering through crappy jobber matches that don't mean anything.

I read the column below, thought it was pretty good read.

Why Blame Vince?
